Cyborg Life

October13

After reading an article about mad scientists I came across Kevin Warwick's name, and not for the first time. Back when I was starting High School I became interested hearing about his research into human-machine combinations - even going as far as naively emailing him to ask some questions. I did actually receive a reply, but obviously there's only so much one can explain to a 12 year-old. Nevertheless I have remained interested in this field, and one of my aims as an Engineer has always been to participate in this kind of research. Therefore finding this interview with Warwick about his views on "cyborgs" is rather interesting.

I shall post my thoughts on the matter shortly.

CERN, It's a Rap

September8

This message goes out to all my homies in the ghetto. Or whatever. Self-titled scientist come rapper Alpinekat lays down the truth about the Large Hadron Collider, which is to be switched on in two days time.
