Cold Airfield – Advent Day 3
Already the one-a-day writing schedule is pushing me - not because I don’t have anything to say, but more because I seem to remember I need to write something scant minutes before midnight, then remember that the edit function on my blog currently doesn’t work. Today we had more snow, saw lots of people falling over and two ambulances on a bridge. My observation therefore is that whilst as a kid snow means fun, games and potentially days off school, the harsh reality of life suggests that wishing for it to happen is not all that good an idea. However there is still something intrinsically great about it, and what we have had the past two days leaves me wishing for some heavier snow, a decent sledge and to be up Aidan’s hill. Roll on the blizzard!
