Text Roulette
Ever heard of Russian Roulette? A game made famous by The Dear Hunter it involves putting a revolver, with just one of the six chambers loaded, to your head. You spin the barrel, then pull the trigger. There is a one in six chance that you'll end up on the chamber with the bullet, and you die. The question is, what could be worse?
Well how about a text going to one of your best friends telling them that you fantasise about them all the time? Maybe one going to your partner saying you cheated on them? One to your boss telling them how much you wish their parents had been castrated before they were married? Well one of these might just get sent if you play the game that adorns this article's title.
Yes, phone roulette - roll up ladies and gentlemen, hand over your mobiles and see what happens. Everyone switches phones. You don't know who gets yours and if you aren't attentive may not know whose you have. You write a text, you send it to a person picked from their contacts list (which may give you a hint as to whose phone it is) and then return it. Everyone proceeds to find out what got sent to who, either by checking their sent box or when the inevitable reply turns up. You play a few rounds, the same person/text cant be texted from a person's phone more than once. When it's over you're free to send a message explaining why the text was sent. It's hillarious, anxious and potentially costly (in more than one way) fun. Go get some credit and hand over the mobile.
