Another Year

January31

I began this site back in June 2005, but it only turned into a blog on January 30th 2006. Whilst I had many reasons for doing this, the first and foremost was that I wanted it to be a blog so that I could announce that Charlotte and I had been going out for one year. Well, the blog has certainly progressed in that time, but this isn't a progress report - not quite yet. Nope, this is merely me pointing out that once again it is the 31st of January, and so today is our 2 year anniversary! In honour of this special occasion I've made a new theme for the site - registered users will have to use the Appearance menu at the side to see the new theme "2 years" and anyone not logged in gets it automatically. I'll finish by saying Charlotte, I love you so much, you're the most wonderful person I've ever known, I can't wait to see you again at the weekend, and I hope we have a great third year together.

I've got your RSS now mate - one thing, get rid of the 'enter' page, that's very 20th century website!

Nooooo, I like my enter page. Doesn't really bother me that it's an old concept, it was my idea and I like it. I see loads of sites with awesome enter pages and as long as they are nicely done it acts as a nice little taste of what your entering into.

Plus there is another reason why I did it, my new site is on a /wordpress with my old site still in the root.

Type the word that appears under the picture of a badger. Why?

Your Comment:

These days spam bots are a problem for websites. They post crap in comments and ruin things for everybody. However asking them to perform tests such as identifying badgers stops them in their tracks, despite how easy it is for you.
