Howard pointed out this comic, consisting primarily of stick figures doing stick figurish things. As well as some maths. Since I've been thoroughly hating this topic recently I thought I'd share the image with you and direct you towards their other comics.

I prefer to think of imaginary numbers as magic numbers - it makes them more cuddly. i was invented because people wanted to be able to take square roots of negative numbers, and you can't do that if you limit yourself to real numbers. Personally I have never yet seen a square root - they tend to be wiggly with a circular cross section, except for potatoes of course, which are potato shaped. And beetroot...sliced beetroot is very tasty with pi which is another interesting number, because it goes on indefinitely, great when you are really hungry...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
