This is the guestbook here on 1keNet. I am posting this having just finished making it, and I hope it will turn into a) a forum for intellectual debate or b) an all out bum fight with people making territorial pissings all over the place. There is a 200 character post limit, and any tags will be removed from messages. Watch this space for more cool design and features. Oh, and it's using one script from Baron, so cheers for that plus his advice as I programmed the rest.

For the time being there are no filters on names or IP addresses - therefore people may masquerade as others, so take no comment seriously. I am logging IP addresses and anyone seen spamming (in a stupid way) will be blocked from accessing the guestbook (as soon as I learn how to do so).

It appears that on Internex Explorer, names aren't showing up in colour, neither are the dates and times below posts. I am working to fix this. An alternative would be for you all to Get Firefox! which is the best browser ever.

Whilst out walking last week, I came across a duvet in a woodland clearing. Today, I was walking across farmland and noticed a duvet in a tree next to the footpath. I think this may be the sign of things to come. Duvets are taking to the streets to declare their intentions of world domination. Only because they are duvets they don't actually know what a street is and have found themselves in some strange situations.

Beware - if you tolerate this, YOUR duvet will be next!

Dagerous Duvets update
Following extensive overnight talks with my duvet, I can report the following: duvets are apparently feeling under threat due to the increasing popularity of furry and fleecy throws. They feel that their role in temperature regulation in the bedroom is being undermined. What is more, they suspect that a big cover-up is going on, especially in relation to Super Kingsize beds. Therefore they have formed an action group, Duvets Against Furry Throws (DAFT), in order to make their views known and to try and regain the upper tier in the bedclothes hierachy. Unfortunately we can expect to see several duvets going astray in the process as they have no sense of direction. I suggest that in order to save your duvet from this fate, you buy it a new duvet cover in a calming shade of pale violet, sea-green or blue - avoid orange at all costs as this will only inflame the situation. Watch this space for further reports.
