It's a nice idea, and definitely well done. But Ryan of Cybernet News pointed out that it would be fun to play with - and that's where there's a problem. From the way the guy was talking this doesn't seem to have been designed to be a fun thing to play with - rather an actual method of organising your stuff. To be honest whilst it is more real world, isn't the fact that we prefer our computers because they don't have all the physical constraints seen represented here? It's cool but not something to be used seriously. Then again, I'd love to be proved wrong here - methods of organisation and control have remained static pretty much since Windows 95. Would you prefer this method of messing with your files, or would another method not considered yet please you more?
Where can I downloadn this?
Going to the YouTube site reveals a link to their website. At the time of blogging I hadn't bothered looking further than the video, as whilst it looked good I doubt it would be useful.
